After much stress, we have survived the Flood of 2008. Although the waters came within blocks of the store, we are fortunate enough to be up the hill a ways. Our heart goes out to all of those who were not as lucky and especially to Lisa and the rest of the gang at Reminisce. After being asked if we are still open, the next question is usually, "What is the best way to get there?" If you are coming from Iowa City, take Camp Cardinal Road. If you are coming from Interstate 80, get off at the mall exit, 240, and proceed to the south until you get to the lights at the T intersection south of the mall. Take a left onto the strip heading east until you get to Applebees. Then take another left onto 12th Avenue heading north for one block. Turn right onto 5th Street (east) and we are 3/4 of the way down the block. We will continue to be open our regular hours. Check our website at www.memoriesonfifth.com for any changes. We look forward to seeing you. |

Special QuicKutz Celebration Event
at Memories on Fifth!
The official word has come from QuicKutz that Spencer Livingston will be visiting our store on Friday night, June 13, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. In honor of his visit, we will be hosting a Special QuicKutz Celebration Event during that time. Spencer has informed me that he will be bringing a QuicKutz basket valued at $250 that he will be sending home with one of our attendees along with some other drawings for exclusive QuicKutz dies! He will also be leading you through a demo and free Make and Take featuring some of the brand new June releases and the new 12-inch Revolution Platform. This special QuicKutz Celebration event is open to everyone. Greetings,
Laura and I enjoyed nearly a week away from this Iowa winter at the 2008 Craft and Hobby Association’s Winter Show in California. We spent the majority of the time browsing through thousands of new products offered by the manufacturers in our industry. We continue to be amazed at how they can come out with more and more awesome selections each show. As usual, we busted our budget to bring you the best. The boxes have already started to arrive and we need more space, so be sure to help us out by stopping in for our Lucky Leprechaun Sale Saturday, March 15— Tuesday, March 18. Maybe you’ll be one of our Lucky Leprechauns!
